Good morning I am Love life speaker!

Husband and Wives – Part II

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself… Ephesians 5:25-28

Husbands love your wives JUST AS Christ ALSO loved the church and GAVE Himself for her. So the first question is How did Christ love the Church? He loved the church so much that HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR THE CHURCH. My God! He DIED for what He loved. He was beaten for what He loved. He was bruised for what He loved. HE took on the worlds hatred for what He loved. He was persecuted for what He loved. Are you willing to be ONE with the one Christ has blessed you with so much that Wives submit to a Lover who resembles Christ and Husbands Love the way Christ loves the church?

This sounds like some poetry right here….. That He might sanctify & cleanse her with the washing of water by the WORD (by God). He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she be holy and without blemish. (Set apart by God and blameless).

So husbands ought to LOVE their OWN wives AS THEIR OWN bodies – he who loves his wife loves himself. WOMEN if he doesn’t love himself, he cannot love you. He doesn’t know how to. No one hates their body in such a way they do not care for it, nourish it, treat it well, protect it, etc.…. If they do neglect loving themselves; red flag. He should be doing the same for you because that’s LOVE! Unselfish love says I will love you as I love myself. If he is loving himself wrong, he will love you wrong.

Don’t get distracted by the exterior when the interior is dysfunctional.

This book was even better the 2nd time around with the book group. It was enlightening and has helped me to declutter in areas that I didn't even realize was cluttered.  I've gained more strength to push even harder to "look upward" more often for help to "grow up" with the Word of God.
