Don't get so FAMILIAR!

Good morning VALUABLE Life Speaker!

Don’t get so FAMILIAR

Familiar – accustomed, habitual, traditional, comfortable

Let’s not become so familiar that we miss God. As I was driving in to work this morning, there in the sky a rainbow. As I looked at that rainbow, the significance of it can become too familiar to us and we just look at it as just another rainbow. We must see the true nature of God when we see it.

God made us a promise, a covenant and if we lose focus on His love for us, if we become so familiar with just the scripture text on why the rainbow was created, then we may miss Him.

The same with the man or woman of God that God sent to deliver a message, a word to us. We cannot get so familiar with them that we cause ourselves to miss God in the process. God’s word is healing. God’s word is refreshing. God’s word has power. God’s word delivers. God’s word sets captives free. God’s word fills us. God’s word gives us the ability to function and operate.

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and [b]the Word was God Himself. 2 He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. 3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. John 1:1-3 AMP

We have become too comfortable. God is about to shake up your comfort zone and cause you to be uncomfortable in your comfort. Amen!

This book is so transparent and raw. It's difficult to share such personal, and private things. But with God....anything is possible. This read is filled with so much spiritual food, and testimonial experience of miracles. I highly recommend this book, and have your tissue ready."

Speak Life, Life Speaker (2)

This book was even better the 2nd time around with the book group. It was enlightening and has helped me to declutter in areas that I didn't even realize was cluttered.  I've gained more strength to push even harder to "look upward" more often for help to "grow up" with the Word of God.
